In August, 2018, the first "Renaissance Hotel" in Taiwan was officially on board in Shihlin, Taipei.
Being a 5 to 10-minute walk from the Shihlin MRT station or any nearby bus stops, the Renaissance Hotel sits quietly in an alley right next to the busy Zhongshan North Road in the Shihlin yolk area.
The perfect convenience of its location allows travelers to reach Taipei 101, National Palace Museum, YangMingShan National Park, Beitou hot spring or the busiest major transportation hub Taipei Main Station in one trip without any transfer. Furthermore, hot tourist spots such as Shihlin Night Market, Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence and Zhi Shan Yan Narrow Gate are just walking distance from the hotel.

若與同級飯店的小坪數房型比較，表現得算是規矩
房內空間3/5規劃為一般活動區域，
包含雙人床、衣帽櫃、冰箱、茶水組、電視、辦公桌與貴妃桌椅
貴妃桌椅區塊的走動空間稍窄，同時辦公桌尺寸較小
旅人最在意的插座數量倒是充足
床頭兩側與書桌旁，皆有一般110V三孔插座與USB插座
若留心房間多處角落，亦可發現不少插座可用

What we had that night was the 300 sq ft one.
When it comes to interior design, I will say the performance is not bad compared to hotels of about the same level in Taiwan (Marriott, Sheraton, Westin...etc.)
3/5 of the room is reserved for bed and walking area which includes a king bed, wardrobes, a refrigerator along with tea sets, TV, desk and a chaise longue. For me, the desk and chaise longue area is a bit narrow. The 110V three-hole and USB sockets are definitely sufficient enough for cell phones, cameras, mobile power and so on. You can easily find them all near the bedside tables, the desk, and many other corners of the room.

色調以白色大理石為主，加上燈具光線充足，整體明亮清爽
其中兩面牆採落地透明玻璃設計，加上大鏡面，視覺空間寬闊許多

Marble and class walls, plenty of light, giant mirror and the neat interior design all together make the whole space visually bigger and brighter.

Renaissance Taipei Shihlin Hotel is famous of its infinite pool not because of its height or size, but the tranquil mountain view in the morning and city view at night. You can stay in the pool, enjoying the quiet atmosphere accompanied by YangMing Mountain on the left and Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence right down below. It's really hard to believe the busy major traffic road is indeed 1 minute's walk from you.
